Monthly Precipitation Tracking

This dashboard tracks the cumulative monthly rainfall for Kalshi precipitation markets. The totals shown are a combination of:

  • Official (CLI): The finalized Month-to-Date total reported by the NWS in the daily Climate Report (usually issued ~5 AM local time). This is the "banked" amount.
  • Live (Today): Real-time accumulations calculated from 5-minute ASOS observations since the last official report was issued.

Note: Live data is an estimate. Official market settlement is determined solely by the final NWS monthly climate report (CLI).
